The Scotty Gomez Hockey Association
The Scotty Gomez Hockey Association is a recreational hockey program established in 2012 and funded by the Foundation.
The Boys and Girls Club supported Scotty in his youngest skating years, and the Scotty Gomez Foundation takes this support seriously. The Foundation sponsored youth hockey through a grant to the Boys and Girls Club of Anchorage for four years. When the Boys and Girls Club let go of youth hockey the Scotty Gomez Foundation Board established the Scotty Gomez Hockey Association for non-competitive teams for disadvantaged youth.
More than 140 youth play hockey through the Gomez Hockey Association each year. Hockey gear is loaned to each child. Kids take lessons, form teams, and play. The value of this program is over $1,800 per child.

Giving Back To The Community.
