Lace up your running shoes and let’s go! Feel free to show off your favorite hockey or sports jersey & join us for the 2023 Scotty Gomez Foundation 5K. This 5K RUN or WALK will be held along Ship Creek trail near downtown Anchorage.

The Scotty Gomez Foundation is dedicated to providing opportunities and assistance for youth hockey in Alaska. With this 5K run and other events, we can make hockey affordable to underprivileged youth of Alaska.

With 13 hockey rinks, a family skating rink, warming tent, food and drinks, a concert and (of course!) lots of hockey, there is guaranteed fun for the entire family. What better way to bring the hockey community together with the purpose of helping young people experience the greatest game in the northern hemisphere.

Registration is now open! All proceeds from the event go directly to the Scotty Gomez Foundation. Teams will consist of 6 players with 4-on-4 play in several youth and adult divisions.
